But this will be a stepping stone to more complex projects. For what it is, it's very solid, but lacks content that will keep me interested. Thanks for submitting.
actually this isnt my first flash this is like my 1000 flash... any how this wasn't suppose to be a good graphic game.
it took me 3 hours to make it so i didint really invested making it
I see that you used my suggestion!
Now I had something to aim for and even got commentary on how I did. I liked that. And the option to turn off the BGM was a nice addition as well. What more can you do to this short of adding more levels? Not much; it's pretty much a done deal. Very polished presentation, and I look forward to seeing what you'll create next.
Thanks for that suggestion btw.
I don't think more levels should be added - 11 is a nice number and it's short enough to encourage people to spend a short time pausing, thinking and planning ahead. If it were too long, having to repeat it to get a perfect score would get kinda annoying and fewer would bother, I think.
Now, I'm gonna try and get 20 simple microgames ready for Christmas (the 1d flipper game will be one).
Thanks for the top review.
Reminds me of Lethal Enforcers!
I'm lovin it! I almost didn't wait out the load but I'm glad that I did. Awesome intergration of real life video, flash FPS mechanics and corny ass acting.
I played it all the way though and it told me that I was't trying hard enough haha. You should put a game standard to show us what to aim for. And you can have a countdown to how many clicks you have left before you drop a rank or something like that. You know what I mean? There isn't much to improve because theres BGM and anything extra would only detract from the final product. Good submission!
The perfect score is 28 and with some forethought is easily acheivable.
Good idea - I'll write down the perfect score as you go through for the next addition.
Thanks for the review!
Kinda like Cat Catapult
Nice holiday twist to a tried and true engine. Well built and solid game, and nice file size as well. Thanks for submitting and sharing!
You have every right to be proud of this piece of work. The presentation and feel of the overall product was clean and professional. The response of the controls was well done and the little animation when you get hit by objects we a good touch. The music as well really added to the ambiance of the game. It was also fun and entertaining as well. One thing you could have done to improve this is to have possibly intergrated the use of the mouse into the game, which would have made it easier to handle. Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Yea it would be a great idea to make the movement in mouse, actually I never thought of it. but now the idea is in my mind so to the next game ^^
Now THIS is Classic Newgrounds!
I remember this stuff when NG was just starting out. This is pure classic flash goodness. Your loader needs a little tweaking, I thought it was done loading and it kept right on going! Well animated and well presented. And the music from FFX-2 was a good choice for this as well haha! Just fix up that little hiccup and we got something for the collections! Thanks for submitting!
Different in its own special way.
The concept is the same but this one has a working high score table. I also think cats are stupid. There's so much working against you, but thats ok cause every time the cat hits those spikes and you get that healthy wet sound of impaled flesh, I feel like a winner! Those guys that critisize and tell you to make something original have NO idea how hard it is to build from scratch. That's why I give you props for being able to make the dynamics reliable. If you decide to update, try adding something to manually boost your kitty just a *little* bit further to give it more interactivity. I was absorbed into it anyways. Great submission and congrats to front page and being a G4 feature!
Classic Gaming Goodness
Most people wouldn't remember this. This was around when Teletubby funland, Pico and Assassin had their own tabs on top of the website. Thanks for bringing this back. Maybe you should make this one of your unlockable secrets for GroundsGold so you got more to unlock? Anyhoo, good luck to ya on your future endeavors.
I'm on a laptop! I don't have a numeric keypad!!! I can't play it, but I bet the people who can will think it's really good.
:O Play as player 2! WSAD to move, YHGJTUBM to attack. (Keep click next on the instructions 'till player 2 comes up.)
